I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel situated in a pleasant square with various restaurants. The location couldn't have been better, surrounded by the bustling atmosphere of the square. The hotel offered great value for money, with reasonable prices for the rooms. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the rooms, particularly the interesting style and the whirlpool bath tub in the bathroom, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. The basic amenities provided were more than sufficient, and I appreciated the effort put into making my experience comfortable. Additionally, the breakfast offered was enjoyable, providing a good start to the day.

All was absolutely fine during my stay, nothing to improve.

We enjoyed our stay here, everything about this place, from the staff to the rooms, was fantastic, and it was just a short walk to els fogons de can llaudes where we had a great lunch.

Position of the hotel so close to Sinagoga de Besalu and possibility to visit puente de besalu. If you don't want to go far from the property, try Can Cintet, which is 600 ft away:)))

The receptionist was very pleasant & helpful

Breakfast wasn't available until after 9.00am. Noise from football supporters in the square went on until early hours. Tea/coffee making facilities in room would have been helpful as we needed to leave early.

We loved the location, within the Besalu castle walls. Although the hotel was in a very old building, it had the most up-to-date bathroom and air control. The hotel desk manager was very helpful, efficient, kind, and a joy to speak to. We needed to leave early one morning and she had a snack lunch packed for us! We were charmed.

The bed was not comfortable. Although it lists in room WIFI, it only worked near the front desk.

We had a great time in this city thanks to the hotel's location right in the heart of it. We were on a large city square in the old town, which made it very easy to get around. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and we appreciated the staff's friendly demeanor.

Cannot find any fault.

This lovely hotel is located in the centre of a quaint village dating back centuries. We werre recomended to book this hotels by friends who greatly appreciated both it and its surroundingss. The hotel is a great place to stay. The village is in fantastic condition. Close by the Fluvia River, Girona and Salvador Dali's Figueres and situated less than 2 hours north of Barcelona.

A lovely setting in a town square, The rooms/suite was comfortable with lots of space.

The location is superb, right on the plaza in front of Sant Pere monastery. Guests can enjoy a view of the square and experience the town's Medieval festivities. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, close to all the attractions.

Difficult access with a car, with a confusing notice and bollard blocking the entry to the town. Guests have to unload their luggage and park outside the town walls, which can be inconvenient.

The hotel was right on the square of the San Pere church, and was walkable to everything we wanted to see.

It was a strange little place. Most of the time there was no one at the front desk and when there was, she spoke no English at all. The reception smelled of fried potatoes (maybe that's where she was...frying potatoes). As others have said before, the design needed help. It seemed furnished by committee. Wifi didn't work in our room, only in the bar. No safe, no minibar. Our room had a skylight which was nice, although hard to open. None of these issues were deal-breakers, just idiosyncracies. Not much choice for hotels in Besalu, and this one overall was fine for a night.
